Summer Reading

Summer Reading 2023

Kids (3 years old and up)

June 26 – July 29

Join us for a summer of fun!  Check out our summer programs for kids and register through our online calendar of events.

This year we will be using the ReadSquared app exclusively for reporting. Download it for free! Digital badges are awarded at different reading levels throughout the program. Children who report weekly will be entered for the grand prize. The app is free for both Android and iOS mobile devices and can be found in the App store for iPhone/iPad or Google Play.  Or via the website!

We hope you’ll be reading all summer long! If you have any further questions, please contact our Children’s Department at [email protected] or (845) 634-4997 x121.

Take time to slow down and relax with a good book this summer. Reading reduces stress and builds brain power, and it can also make you a winner! Fill out a 1– 3 word review of your latest read to automatically be entered into our drawing for a gift card. Reviews will be posted at Express to help in the search for perfect summer books!
