The Emerald Atlas by John Stephens, published-2011
The Emerald Atlas was a great book to read. The story begins in a town known as Cambridge Falls. The characters, Kate, Michael and Emma travel back in time through an enchanted world to set about their adventures. The book was unforgettable and the plot was intense. The author, John Stephens, was very descriptive and made me feel like I was in the book. However, the beginning of the book was a slow read and in some parts several things are happening at once so those parts were somewhat hard to follow. I suggest The Emerald Atlas for ages ten to fifteen. The Emerald Atlas took my definition of Fantasy to the next level and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series-The Fire Chronicle.
